Terms of Service
Effective date: July 31, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the StreamVault website and the StreamVault app for Shopify (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
StreamVault enables Shopify merchants to deliver digital products through secure, time-limited download links, including automatic link generation on paid orders, email delivery, customer-facing download pages, and merchant management tools. Digital files remain stored in the merchant's own cloud storage; StreamVault generates access links to them.
Merchant responsibilities
- You must own or hold all rights necessary to sell and distribute the files you deliver through the Service, and your content must comply with applicable law and Shopify's policies.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your configuration, including storage credentials, bucket contents, product-to-file mappings, and email settings.
- You are the data controller for your customers' personal data and are responsible for your own privacy disclosures to them. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for charges from your own storage provider (for example, S3 bandwidth) arising from downloads of your files.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to distribute unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or to other merchants' data. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
Fees
The StreamVault app is currently offered free of charge. If paid plans are introduced, pricing will be presented through Shopify's billing system and no charges will apply without your acceptance.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamVault will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from or related to use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or USD $100 if you have paid nothing).
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. Upon uninstall, data deletion follows the process described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
